FEED INGREDIENTS

You can use a variety of feed ingredients in the preparation of your final feed, all of which contain essential nutrients. Below are the primary ingredients used in animal feeds, categorized based on their main characteristics and their role in animal nutrition. These 4 categories include: energy sources, protein sources, calcium sources, vitamins, and minerals.

Vitamins and mineralsThere are loose vitamins and minerals that can be added to the feed.

An essential component in layer feeds, particularly crucial during the egg production.

Limestone is almost pure calcium carbonate and is used in animal feed as a source of calcium, which is essential for the formation of good-quality eggshells.
